Our busy holiday boarding season is ahead, and as always we at The Animal Center strive to meet the needs of our pet owners.  That is why, for Thanksgiving season, we are offering EXPRESS SUNDAY for our boarding cats and dogs.  If you are traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday, and your furry friend is boarding with us, we have the option of Sunday pickup.  Certain conditions do apply, so ask our friendly staff about EXPRESS SUNDAY when making your reservation!


Watch for our new informational column in the Zachary Plainsman!  We address a variety of topics over the months ahead.

Planning is underway for the annual ZFest Top Dog contest.  The contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 27th, at 4 p.m.  Contest categories are all new this year, including a Best in Show.  Negotiations for a top secret celebrity judge are underway, as well as for a working dog show by the Zachary Police Department!  Keep checking for more information...

Dr. Lynn Buzhardt and friend, Dr. Sue Steib, have recently co-authored a book entitled Can We Have One? A Parent's Guide to Raising Kids with Cats and Dogs.  The book is available at Borders, our clinic, and on line at Amazon.com.  It is a great resource for families as they grow with pets and children.
